... from the performer of such ditties as
"I Hate Israel, I Love Amr Moussa." and "Hey People, It Was Only a Tower and I Swear by God that They [the U.S.] Are the Ones Who Pulled it Down."

It's very interesting. look out for his comment on Silvio Berlusconi:

middle eastern orgers, have you ever heard of him?

Edit: oh, and watch the video to the end as he does a fun song about avian flu.

That second one has a really catchy title.

At least this music has a meaning beyond "lets get some money and get laid" even if it is rather extreme!

Oh dear me.
Do you think he writes his own songs?

Ps: The bird flu song was fantastic!

The interviewer woman is nice-looking, and seemed kind of amused by her subject's opinions. The guy wears more jewelry than she does. I guess the 'bling-effect' extends to Egypt also.

Her desperate attempt to hold back laughter when the 'pop star' said that he'd appoint his sons to all the different ministeries and get the one he made minister of housing to give him a larger appartment 'because he's the prime minister' says it all really.

I too liked the interviewer woman, she looks good and is apparently normal in contrast to the "popstar"...:2thumbsup:

And no, I didn´t like any of his songs. I´ve heard better middle-eastern music, though, I think Egypt is pretty much in Africa and not in the middle-east, isn´t it?:inquisitive:

I thought that the middle east included parts of Asia and north Africa

Since Sinai is in the Middle East (if you cut it at the Canal) then Egypt has it's role to play as a middle eastern state. Just like Turkey is a European state (if not fully).

Politically you can certainly include Egypt as it looks far more to the middle east than it does towards Sudan, Libya or Ethiopia.

good to know american popstars don't have the exclusive rights to being over opinionated and (dare i say?) idiotic on so many issues.

but didn't you enjoy it?

I did. Big mouthed popstars are an interesting breed. I enjoyed this guy's nepotistic views.

and the songs about new years resolutions and bird flu.

Sheet of Glass By:SFTS

Sheet oh Glass oh Sheet oh Glass
At anytime we could turn the middle east in to a sheet of glass
Why dont we?
I have no idea
All these people think they can push us around
But these idoiots forget
We have the button
Sheet oh Glass oh Sheet oh Glass

When do I get to meet him? Does he do photo ops?
