If you've ever felt like controlling the whole italian peninsula before you technically declare war, well you can, once you have the ability to hire assassins train like 2 or 3 and send them all on missions to roman senate family members. they will all most certainly die, but you will immediately be outlawed and declared war upon. Its best to do this when have a decent army to combat the senate, and if you do this early enough the other roman houses will be fairly weak and expansion relatively small, by doing this you will avoid a civil war spreading from italy to egypt, to, at the most, spreading from northern italy to sicily and appollonia
