Hi all ~:)

I've been willing to make my own map for a while, and have seen others bring some maps. I heard somewhere about 'guidelines for map-making'... perhaps that's just a thread here somewhere? I would like to get some tips to see if my idea's will work..

GaiJin, Cha, anyone? know where I can find such things?

I usualy just start by editing the IB, and adding my own height features,
and then some trees.

But to make decent maps you really need to know what everythings max fiering range is excetera.
So you can place your little hight advantages in strategic places. so no one gets a silly advantage which was never suposed to be there.

The only tip i can give about map making is.
You cant make maps using software gfx in shogun.
And you must swith to hardware before the map editor is available for use.
