I'm new here. I don't usually post in forums like these (i.e. 'introduce yourself' forums), but I can't seem to post in the RTW forums, and at the top of my screen it says "Why not start with your first post today and become an active part The Guild forums now!" I thought perhaps I had to post to 'activate' my membership here. Well, we'll see if it works.

Nope. Does anyone know why, when I try to post in the RTW forums, I am told I do not have access to those pages?

I'm not trying to edit someone else's post or anything, but it did say perhaps the "administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation." What does this mean? I haven't gotten any emails about 'activating' my account, and I can't imagine why my account may have been disabled.

Since you're currently a junior member, you can't post in the main forums yet. Until you're promoted to full Member status, you're limited to posting in the Entrance Hall (plus the RTW & MTW Guides forums).

And anticipating your next question: Promotion doesn't have an estabslished set of requirements--for example, you don't need to have a certain number of posts to be a regular member. Just continue being intelligent and polite (like you're already doing), and you'll be promoted before too long.

If you want to post something about Rome, however--be it a question, problem, or you just want to talk about your current battle/campaign--feel free to just go ahead and post it here in the Entrance Hall. A lot of the regular members are here as often as the junior members are, and we're all pretty good at addressing any questions or concerns you may have....and sharing a drink (or two) to celebrate your hard-earned victory. ~:cheers:
