HI there,

I just dont get this..I am trying to dnld some of the guides for a freind.. and most now seem to be in PDF format..but every link send me off to a silly web site where you have to wait in a que before starting downloads.. it just seems to me that since they are PDF all you would need to do is have a link and then the thing would just open in the browser since Arobat is built in..

Is there a resaon for this???

Yes, you need a place to host(place) the PDF file. The site needs to have enough storage and bandwidth.

Vince pretty much explained it. The Org does not have space to store all guides, so they are hosted on 3D downloads. 3D downloads is a popular hosting site, so more people can be downloading at any moment than the servers can handle. To prevent this, 3D downloads has instituted a download queue.

Most of the guides on these forums are posted here as well as being just in .pdf format - if that's the case then just save the webpage as a .txt file.

Simple and fast. Sure you don't get the graphics but its a whole lot faster than downloading.
