Should Barry Bonds be allowed a spot in the hall of fame or even in the record books?

Is he really a cheat? Steroids weren't disallowed in baseball until recently, so he technically did nothing wrong. And it's not like he was the only one taking them. The record books for the past 20 years are tainted at this point, nobody knows who was juiced and who wasn't. So I say let him in. Even without the 'roids, he was an excellent player.

That said, he should get intentionally walked every at-bat from now until he retires. And by intentionally walked, I mean chin-music.

Steroids were illegal his whole career. There are many things that are illegal that the MLB's rules don't cover. I don't care if he, McGwire, Palmeiro, the Balco boys from the Yankees and Sosa are all scapegoated, they all should pay.

That would be nice, too. If he breaks Ruth's career HR record it'll be a travesty.

There is no way that Bonds should be allowed to break the record or get in the hall of fame. You just cant compare him to greats like Babe Ruth.
