I've not played this mod, as I've lost my RTW disc and mucked up BI when modding and I can't reinstall it.

Anyway, I'm just saying that I've noticed, and also heard a lot of other people complain, that chariot and elephant charges do little to infantry, but absolutely slaughter even the heaviest cavalry. I know people have mucked around with stats to fix this, but I thought this might work:

When infantry are charged, they fly up into the air, but can get up again. Cavalry, however, just die instead. Would it be possible to remove this flying-up action from infantry, so, just like cavalry, they would have to die instead?

This would help make RTW a lot more realistic.

I haven't seen this complaint though (have "a lot of people" complained about it?). When I use elephants, I send them only into heavy infantry, and they usually destroy them. I know I've had my Baktrian infantry ripped to pieces by some rebel indian elephants too - when I had nothing but a general, a lot of phalangites, and some archers.

That's true that elephants seem to be very effective against heavy cavalry, in a custom battle I made charge my African elephants (the unarmoured one ) on two units of hetairoi and they managed to rout them both with olny a loss...

I guess it's retribution for the fact that historicaly horses woulnd't go anywhere near elephants.
