I just stumbled upon this neat little site, which can tell you if you're system can play a certain game or not.

You don't need to download anything at all, just click the game in question and run the test !

Now here is the link :

System Requirements Lab (http://www.srtest.com/referrer/srtest)

Hope it helps !

I think i posted a link to this aaaaages ago. Not many people liked it, as they were suspicious of unknown software scanning their PC. It's perfectly safe though.

I just found that yesterday, it says my computer is as close to perfect as they come. I got pulled a little for "only" having 1 gb and not having XP sp2 though.

Why don't you have SP2, for I take it you do have the regular XP

lazyness I guess, and now I keep failing the pre-innstall check.
My computer barely survived a mild hardrive crash a few weeks ago, (Lots and lots of disc errors) it barely corrupted my windows. (Among other things, but it runs fine)
I guess I'll just repair windows soon and get it over with.

This thing just F'ed up firefox for me. New windows don't work, and eveything types in backwards. Probably more.

At CR :

Have no idea what might have caused that, I'm running firefox and it works fine.

At SK :

Yeah it does produce some weird results, I'perfectly able to run COD 2 as well, however the site said I couldn;t.

Overall I get usefull information though.

This makes me want to kill myself.

Or upgrade significantly.
