Wow he has got his perspective geometry down to either a fine art or a nifty computer program (get the proportions right on a PC pic and then draw it in life... a bit like the horizon lines used by the masters of old).

I've always been fascinated by such displays. In downtown San Diego, he once drew a huge crater, nearby the front entrance to the Federal building. Folks walked around the 'perimeter' for weeks... presumeably not wanting to fall in - later, out of respect for the work.
Both nice gestures, IMO; but ultimately blotted out by rain, leading to discussions about the interminability of art and artifact... and that effect on us.

That is amazing. I wonder what they look like from other angles. Would the illusion still be present?

nope. You'd have batman and robin pulling down on a rope which is going upwards, so it's kind of like having them grabbing a pole and going downwards.

Dang, and I thought the guy that recreated The Last Supper in front of the National Gallery was cool... This guy is awesome.
That`s pretty awesome artwork.

I’ve seen this before and think it is very cool. I wonder if he has considered doing anything permanent, or if he has been approached by anyone wanting something permanent? :2thumbsup:
