Check your inboxes people.

That second screenshot is excellent.

I think the shapes of the flags on the units tells you what type of unit they are.
Triangle= missile
verticle rectangal= infantry
horiziontel rectangal= cavalry

or maybe it is valour?

Did anybody else get a French newsletter as well as an English one?

I have 3 plus one in French.

The first one is some screenshots, Turks in one and an English axeman in the other.
The second is some wallpaper.
The third is the one in my first post.

Are those some billmen on the left side of the second screenshot?

They look more like Chivalric Foot Knights to me. They're too heavily armoured to be billmen.

Are you talking about this screen? I don't get the newsletter or whatever reason...

Well, in that case: the unit closest to the camera is obvious a unit of foot knights, while the unit behind them is billmen (although their bills look mighty odd, I must say), note their open helmets and lack of leg armour.

Hmmm - they look more like warhammers to me, rather than bills.

But this would not be the first time I've been confused and talked billhooks...

The foot knights in the foreground are clearly using warhammers, but the polearms carryed by the unit behind them appears to carry some sort of blade...

Has anyone seen any images with Aztecs in them? I think I saw one with an Aztec building though I've lost it now.

Ah yes, you're right! Give that man a cigar!

Yes - they look a lot like billmen - one of my favourite units from M1. It's possibly the angle/perspective that is causing them to look so thin?
