I'm planning on trying to make some parfait this weekend, and was just wondering of you honorable ladies and gentlemen had any interesting recipes for such a dish?

What about making a mousse and sticking it the freezer, as a parfait is (or like) a frozen mousse.

Donkey: You know what else everybody likes? Parfaits. Have you ever met a person, you say, "Let's get some parfait," they say, "Hell no, I don't like no parfait"? Parfaits are delicious.
Ask Donkey!
Are you people just not listening or what?

I think it's cold pottage with sugar (maybe milk too?).

Gah! Have none of you read my post?
A parfait is a cross between an ice cream and a mousse: a frozen mousse.
I wonder of the attention span of some of the posters here

I've never understood why he says parfait... a parfait doesn't have layers...

Custard? Nay, custard is too thick, too heavy. A parfait must be light!

My parfait ended up a little too light... somewhat watery, in fact...
