I've finished pre-registration as a junior doctor. I need a letter signed by my consultant to practive medicine (effectively get a job, earm money etc etc). It should have been done February 7th. I'm still waiting...

The three Koreans I will be staying with are not going to be legally bound the same way Americans are, and as I know them I feel obligated to trust them, I must rely on them to pay about $1500 per month. No offense to them, but I'm a bit sketched out about that. Essentially they could skip out on the deal and I will be legally obligated to pay all of their portion. :juggle2:

I've had little time to relax this weekend. So far I've spent 5-10 hours yesterday working on a ten page paper due Friday, 3-4 hours today working on a Physics mid-term (which I already spent 1.5 hours working on in school Friday) and I had to go to work for three hours today.

Plus I don't even understand two of the questions on the mid-term...One doesn't seem to have enough information with it to solve and the other is just a really big horrendous problem.

I'm visiting friends in Bristol. This morning, the *beep* students who frequent this road/area once again thought it was hilarious to pull up the windscreen wipers on every car in the street, save those they stuck a half-eaten kebab under.

And helpfully, they yanked my classic Spitfire's wiper right off its hinge. Best part of a hundred quid to repair. :furious3:

Thursday I had to go in and get a root cannal. Which in itself isnt so bad except for that fact that it could have been prevented. The root cannal was on the top right second mollar. It was cuased by the wisdom tooth impacting it. 6 months ago i had gone into the dentist and recieved a full set of x-rays, and even asked how the wisdom teeth were doing, they said fine arent even visible on the x-ray (my ass). 2 months ago I went in, in pain becuase of the wisdom teeth impacting. They all had impacted with the other teeth. All of them were removed fine exept that one. For me this is very irritating, I'm anal retentive about tooth care and getting a cannal and a crown was seemingly the end of the world! Yes a little mellowdramatic but i was pissed beyond belief.

Also OMG are wisdom teeth bad to get removed without any good pain killers.

I've done poorly on a Fluid Mechanics exam. The worst thing is that there are only 2 midterm exams for the whole semester. The class is also only 50 minutes long. All of my classes have gone to a two-midterm format. I've concluded that they are doing this because it is easier to grade 2 midterms instead of 3.

Yeah I just came back from a party.. But what was it for ?

We are sending 2 of our friends to the army for their obligatory military draft. Both are university graduates and both have been drafted to the army for the long period. If you can graduate from a 4-year university or a longer one, you are eligible to try your chance for a shorter military service. However whatever you have done or you can do, it's all in army's hand. And these two friends have been drafted as commandos to the army, meaning they will spend 12 months in the army (long period) instead of 6 months, provided the high possibility that they will join operations in the south eastern Turkey against PKK.

6-months is a must for any individual here in Turkey but it is just nonsense to waste one educated man's another 6-months in military. So we had a farewell party, drank a lot, had a lot of fun. But it was all bitter at the end. Noone knows what may happen.

I'd like your good wishes for my friends if you'd like to. :shame:

Oh my god. That's so crazy that you would say that. It didn't happen yesterday, but something similar happend today in offseason. We each had partners and we had to do sprints with our partners on our backs (mine is like 170lbs, BTW). Anyway, it was his turn to run and I was on his back and it hurts like hell, but something wierd happend and he racked the crap out of me. Oh dear god it hurt like hell...

Not to mention running with that 170lb kid on my back, nearly broke my back. AND, when I tried to get on the first three times of his back, he was too far down and I kept sliding off in front. That hurt too...

gah! we just lost in the soccer state semifinals to west des moines valley. their fans were so annoying and really rude, they have 3,000 kids ,and are the biggest in the state, we, bettendorf, have about 1,500 , but we still usually beat them. they got a BS call and got a pk and they made it and then we fell apart. The refs hate us, last year in the finals they gave the other team two pks on bs calls. Everyone hates us cause we are good at all the sports. arg

On top of this my wife is phoning up moaning on about her sister's move to the UK as a student and of course it's all my fault that the visas system is a mess. After all it's my stupid country so it must be my stupid fault... she wants me to make phone calls now which I can't because I'm AT WORK, so now she's off in a strop... Today my (soon-to-be-ex)wife came up to pick some furniture and things from my (formerly ours) apartment. Even though we arranged it such that I'd be out of the house for the duration, we did have to meet briefly. It ****ed me (well, her too) up pretty badly.
