This sort of related to EB, but it also involves RTR and there may be a better place for this but I don't know where.

I have been unable to play any campaigns because of what I think is a problem with my video card. Awhile ago I uninstalled EB and started a campaign in vanilla RTW. It worked fine, although know I suspect that I didn't play long enough to see my monitor go crazy. After that I reinstalled EB and everything (except my campaigns) worked fine.

The other day I decided to install RTR and see if campaigns would work (they didn't) so I uninstalled EB and installed RTR. Now, as EB is far superior to RTR even in its early stages, I want to uninstall Rome Total War, reinstall Rome Total War, install the 1.2 patch, and then install EB and its most recent patch, but I can't. Nothing happens when I try to uninstall RTW. A message should pop up saying something like "Are you sure you want to remove Rome: Total War and all of its components? Ok Cancel", but it never does. I have also tried unistalling by going through Add/Remove Programs.

Ok.

Go to your main hard drive (the common name for it is "C" drive), through 'MY COMPUTER'.

Double click and go to 'program files'. In here you will find a folder called 'activision' and inside this folder you will find the 'rome-total war' folder.

Right click and delete.

After you have done this close all windows on your screen.

Now click your 'start' button and click the icon 'run' (should be bottom right hand side of the window that pops up).

Now that you have the 'run' window up, type in the field 'regedit' and hit enter/return.

Now that you have this window up, scroll to the expandable folder called 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE', now scroll down this list and expand the 'software' list.

Scroll down this new list and see if you can find a folder called 'The Creative Assembly', if it is there right click and delete.

Now restart your computer and try to re-install.

Everything should be ok now (crosses fingers).

Hoped this helped

Did it resolve the video issues you had with EB?

Uninstalling/reinstalling did not fix my video problems, but I fixed them last night by installing an older set of drivers and putting a fan on my video card.
