what differences is between the difficulty levels in the original STW

i am asking because i was doing some unit tests in custom battles, and it seemd to me that the result were random. Repeating same test several times produced different results.

On easy your troops get +1 honor

On normal they are equal

On hard the AI gets +1 honor

On expert the AI gets +2 honor



Custom battle results will still be rather random though. Original shogun doesn't come with a perfectly flat map so it would be tricky to do a unit test.
