ok i was just wondering what InUncivilisedLands actually did... i assume it means when a person goes in a province owned either by rebels or barbarians... but in BI would that also apply to nomads/huns
or am i completely wrong and it is just an 'any where but roman' thing?

thanks

From docudemon_conditions.txt:

---------------------------------------------------
Identifier: InBarbarianLands
Trigger requirements: character_record
Parameters: None
Sample use: InBarbarianLands
Description: Is the character in lands of a barbarian culture?
Battle or Strat: Either
Class: CHARACTER_IN_BARBARIAN_LANDS
Implemented: Yes
Author: Lee
---------------------------------------------------

I'd assume from the description that this would apply to a character of any faction. In BI the Sassanids, Berbers, Romano_British, and Slaves are clearly not barbarians. Strictly speaking, the Hun and Nomad cultures are not barbarian, but I don't know if this condition treats them as if they were.

There are a few conditions that don't work properly, or work backwards - this may be one of them. Someone like Malrubius will probably know.

I'm not sure exactly what provinces would be considered "barbarian" lands for the purposes of this condition. I'd guess lands controlled by a faction in the barbarian culture, but I haven't determined this conclusively.

don't worry... i was just looking through the EB triggers and noticed InEnemyLands... i'll use that instead

Just remember, that one does the opposite of what you'd expect! InEnemyLands means the character is in one of your provinces. :dizzy2:

That's fixed in 1.5/1.6
Make sure of that when you port EB to 1.5
