Alright, my PS2 is somehow broken. When I try to play this one game, the area where the CD is starts vibrating and a disc error happens, stoping the game.

Well Could it be the disk? If so, I reccomend DataDoctor. It helped me repair quite a few disks fast, and is pretty easy.

EDIT: The other games I have work fine, might be the CD, but has anyone else had that problem when playing San Andreas?

Not San Andreas, but I did have a problem playing Mercenaries. Thinking it was the disk I took it back to the shop and brought back another copy of the same game but to no avail. Every other game I had worked but then I decided to try Mercenaries again and in frustration hit the top of my PS2 and reset it...and it worked. :inquisitive:

However, I do not recommend this remody but you could try it at your own risk.

After doing some research, I think it might be dust accumulating in the system. I'll open it up tonight and tell you what I found.

Yeah, I hoover my PS2 out quite often as it collects dust inside like there's no tomorrow.

I had a problem playing a game on my ps2, not quite like yours, but none the less very annoying. I think the game was the matrix path of neo or something like that, everytime I tried to play it the game would stay on the loading screen, not freeze, but just load and never stopped. I only got the game to play once but froze about 20 minutes into the game.

So far, it's worked partially. I cleaned the lens, and reset it to a position where I thought it would work, but now the games still freeze every so often. I'm suspecting that I did not set the lens correctly, so I'm gonna redo it and tell what I've come up with.
