Randomly started CTD

I'm new to EB and this is my first post, so I should start by saying...WOW
Eb made finally made RTW the game I had always wished it would be. I only just discovered it a few days ago, and I've been playing non stop ever since.

My problem is this...EB ran great for the first few days, but after a few hours of play earlier today, I found that the game will not load anymore. It goes to teh title screen where it displays the mod name, and then it crashes. I've restarted my comp a few times, but the problem remains!
PLease don't tell me I'm out of luck, I've only scratched the surface of this fantastic game!

That's really weird. If it was crashing during campaign load up - then I'd say go in and delete map.rwm and try to restart. I'd try that anyway just in case. Maybe some of our other guys or supporters can help out here.

(am watching season 5 of south park, and got a big kick out of butters last night in an episode. - I don't think I'm very happy. I always fall asleep to the sound of my own screams.)

It sounds like something got corrupted; this should not happen, and I have never heard of it happening. So if it doesn't sort itself out, the only suggestion I can give is to reinstall.

I am having the same problem, it will only show the first screen for me. The only difference is that I have just installed EB. Should I just uninstall and install again?
