Just watched a prog on Discovery Civ this afternoon called "Clash Of The Generals". Very interesting, it pitched two real life high ranking generals (Peter de la Billiere and Chuck Horner) against each other using the Total War engine.
One was emulating Hannibal, and the other one Alexander. It was "Time Commanders" without the amateurs, and it was quite fun.
But my main point is... we saw a lot of new units in this battle, and I am just wondering if this programme was a trailer for the new xpac? Is this a battle using the new xpacs units?
Any thoughts from anyone else that saw it???

CLASH OF THE GENERALS
U.S. Premiere: Thursday, June 2, 8-9 PM
Who was the world's greatest general? Was Alexander the Great a better tactician than Hannibal? Military experts Sir Peter de la Billiere and General Chuck Horner champion their foremost military hero in CLASH OF THE GENERALS.

Well thanks for the info in the link, Since I will be able to watch it then. As far as I know that program is over a year old and you were watching a rerun of it.

So to answer your Q this has very little to do with the exp pack

Woah... no sh*t man I should have spotted the date. First time I seen it, and I assumed it was an advetisment for the latest expac because of the content. Still... nice to see Billiere get one over on his mate Chuck who started to complain about the computer when he was beaten... Billiere had him rumbled before it started.

Fun prog though, shame I'm a million light yrears behind you. ~:pissed:

EDIT: and when I said a lot of new units, I really meant SOME new units. But only on Alexanders side. And yes, it's worth watching just to see two real life Generals handle a situation and see how they cope.

CA probably made the skins especially, I think that's what they did for Time Commanders.
