View Full Version : Sieges and such
Is it at all possible for both sides to suffer that one unit loss for each turn spent in sieges, or have it take effect for the... trait after tightening belts, if there is one? Would it be possible to control it through plague if nothing else? you could also apply this to factions that are fighting in environments they're unsuited for, such as Rome in the sahara or such.

That kind of thing would have to be controlled with scripts and/or traits. And THOSE can only be applied to armies that are led by Generals/Family Members. So armies led by captains wouldn't suffer these effects, and it would enourage all kinds of exploits.

Do all family members get the angry from the siege and righteous anger traits whe you siege them? It does make sieges a pain, and I hate sieges as it is.

I don't know what to do with a comment like that. Have you rigorously recorded the results from 10 straight sieges and are here to report that EVERY family member inside the city picked up those traits? That would be actual data, and we could analyze whether it was supposed to happen that way or not.
Remember - EB is a Beta version. If there are problems, we need help from all you testers. So if you spot something that you believe to be a bug - TEST IT AND REPORT THE RESULTS! Otherwise it's random bitching and we have no hope of addressing your concern

I've only had one enemy family member get angry during a seige in my current campaign I find it a rarity.
