I have also tried going through the site but it still never worked. Can someone show me how to use fraps?

1) Open up FRAPS and click the ScreenShots tab.
2) Make a new folder on your PC for saving screenshots to or just use the default one.

3) If you made a new folder change to path to the folder you just created
4) Set a key on the keyboard (which works best for you) to save your screenshots.

5) Open up the game you want to take screenshots of e.g Rome Total War
6) Press the key you set to save your screenshots and then go the folder you set to save your screeshots to and your done.
If you need anymore help mate just ask. ~

And willl that save all the screenshots i take and not overight any?
Yep. You can just keep saving as many as you like and they will not be overighted.
And if you would like to host any of your screenshots then this is the best image host site imo...http://www.imageshack.us

I can recommend Howie's QuickScreen for anyone else who is looking for a screenshot program. It's the one I always use, and I've had it for months trouble-free.

You minimize it. It has to stay active while you run R:TW.

Yeah thanks. shame about the pointy feet though but that sometimes happen online for me. I kicked my friends A*#. :laugh4: :2thumbsup:
The pointy feet are often a result of having your unit detail settings on lowest. Put the unit detail setting on medium or higher (in game options) and it should be fine mate.

Where do you do that online because when I play offline I have them on medium/high.
Online grapical settings are the same as offline graphical settings so it seems a bit strange that your guys have pointy feet despite the unit detail setting being on medium (or higher).
What about your other settings?

So how do I use it during play? Do I have to start it before starting RTW in order to take caps or? If it have to be active during play doesn´t it intervene in any way with the game? Thx in advance.

1) Once you've downloaded Howie's Quick SC, then simply open it up before you go onto the game or application you want to take screen captures of.
2) Then go to File/Preferences...once on this screen you need to set up where you want your screenshots to be saved to (e.g. My Documents/My Pictures...). Then set other stuff up like what you want your screenshots to be saved (best is .jpeg 24-bit imo). Then the most important thing for you to set up is the key you want to use to capture your screenshots, (default is F12 I think).
3) Then with Howie's Quick SC active you need to start up your game (e.g Rome Total War) and you can take as many screenshots as you like and they will all be saved to the folder you specified in your preferences.
This will NOT interfer with your gameplay in anyway, shape, or form.
Hope this helps mate. ~

I have the button you press as insert which is near the printscreen button so i'll remeber it. You can also make a sound of a camera taking a picture when you press it.
