the game constantly crashes to desktop...anyone knows something about it???I think is problem of the computer...

it would be helpfull, if you could tell the cricumstances of your ctd's, the faction you are playin g with, and your eb version. without them no one could help you.

sorry im brazilian....normally is crashing in the after batles load, my version is the newer and the faction im playng is rome...

This is a known bug (the famous reinforcement battle ctd (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=62742)), but it couldn't be resolved in version 1.2 (has maybe something to do with a vannilla bug of double checking traits after battle...)
It will possibel be resolved if the move to Rome 1.5 is finished.

To avoid this type of CTD ypu can:

autocalc battles

play the battles without family members, or if you have multiple generals in one army remove them except one.

When you say it's crashing when the battle loads - do you mean that (1) it crashes before you start the battles, (2) that it crashes during the middle of the battles, or (3) that it crashes when you have totally finished the battle and it is exiting to the campaign map again?

The last one is the only one we know of - and it only occurs when multiple characters (not just captains - but generals) are fighting in a battle.

Se é em campanha ou em custom battle, se há reforços durante a batalha, com que facção jogas e contra quem é a batalha, e que especie de combatentes é que havia em cada exercito...etc...

Se houver hipotese, podias por favor, fazer o upload do "save" para que o pessoal consiga resolver o teu problema. :book:

Jogando com Roma contra sweboz, getai e casse ja aconteceu, só acontece quando o inimigo tem reforços.

depois da batalha na tela de carregamento para voltar para o mapa acontece o crash.

não sei como se faz o upload do save...

This CTD only happens when you have more than one (usually it takes more than two I think) generals in the battle. You will have to avoid multiple general battles maybe if you want to avoid possibly having this problem - until we have the next build ready. Autoresolving the battle will cause the problem to be avoided also - as will sometimes fighting it without one of your generals (if you could pull one out maybe).

Does the enemy have generals though? It's not just about the user's generals, but it happens when multiple generals (3 or more, sometimes 2 is possible though I guess) fight and are given traits at the end. No single traits are wrong - it's just that there are so many and the game checks multiple times that it causes a problem.

for example my last batle: i have one general in a sieged city and was assauted by two capitain leaded armys i won killed them two capitains and most of their units and after that in load screen it crashed.

thats strange, do you really mean during the fight? In version 0.74 the CTD that happend during a battle was fixed (there was a problem with the animation of sword/spear infantri)

We haven't had one report of a CTD *during* a battle in 0.7.4 (but we had a number of them in 0.7.2). Please be sure that this is what you are running and let us know if you have any other modded files on this build.

i'm sure its 0.74...and theres nothing modded...maybe can be some windows problem...if you EB team want my save game to study the bug just teach me how to post it:laugh4:

Give a check in that CTD 'cause it happened before batle begin and I tried 3 times...If need some other save just ask...

CRAZY THING...I open the game again for the four time and the CTD doesnt hapenned in the beginning nether in the end of the batle and in some other batles after it doesn't hapenned too!!....impressing:sweatdrop:
