Logging In Problems

Since my computer broke and I had to reinstall everything, I've been having problems logging in here. The Guild won't 'remember me', even though I've selected it to. I have to log in again every time. This didn't happen before my computer broke. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Presumably your new computer doesn't accept cookies. Cookies are used to identify your computer, so without them the forum cannot remember you. Have a look at the firewall and browser security options and set it to accept cookies from https://forums.totalwar.org. (Off course, being able to be identified is not always a good thing on the internet, so I recommend you not to change the settings to "accept all cookies". Only allow trusted sites to place them.)

Ludens gives sound advice. In case you're unfamiliar with how to change those settings: in Internet Explorer, click "tools">Internet Options>Privacy>advanced. Click 'over-ride automatic cookie management', then select the level you're comfortable with (I recommend "prompt to accept" for 1st Party cookies). That should get you back on track, without having to log-in every time.
