Hi all.

I'm new to the forums here and I'm playing MTW (again). I've got Rome too, but I always seem to come back to a few great games like MTW and HOMM3. I've played HTW (which is great) and am about to check out some of the other mods.

I'm playing XL with MTW now and I like it. Lots of new factions, and tweaks to the economy and building, plus more unique units. Trade it cut way back (too much, imo) and farming boosted way up (ditto) so it's not a poor world. All the gold doesn't seem to help the AI much though.

You won't be disappointed if you choose to install and play some RTW mods, many are incredible and won't fail to satisfy you.

How ya' doing. I like medieval better then rome too,(the map on rome is terrible:embarassed: ) And visit the back room when you get the chance if you like politics(thats where I usually am) And dont forget to put bunny in your signature please (I am trying to make him take over the org)

LOL... thanks everyone.

Yes the links helped. I've now installed the XL, BKB and FOR mods (successfully after some head-scratching). Now I just don't know what to play!!!

Mods for RTW will have to wait for now though I'm sure I'll try them before long.

To BHCWarman88 and caesar010, I like beer and politics, though on the latter I'm not sure 'like' is the right word. 'Incensed' or 'apoplectic' might be nearer the mark :)

Anyway, thanks again for the kind welcome.
