You are an agnostic. Though it is generally taken that agnostics neither believe nor disbelieve in God, it is possible to be a theist or atheist in addition to an agnostic. Agnostics don't believe it is possible to prove the existence of God (nor lack thereof).
Agnosticism is a philosophy that God's existence cannot be proven. Some say it is possible to be agnostic and follow a religion; however, one cannot be a devout believer if he or she does not truly believe.Ooo, big surprise.
I'd incidentally point out that many of the questions of the quiz are in dire need of some clearer terminological and contextual definition.

You scored as Buddhism.
Your beliefs most closely resemble those of Buddhism. Do more research on Buddhism and possibly consider becoming Buddhist, if you are not already. In Buddhism, there are Four Noble Truths: (1) Life is suffering. (2) All suffering is caused by ignorance of the nature of reality and the craving, attachment, and grasping that result from such ignorance. (3) Suffering can be ended by overcoming ignorance and attachment. (4) The path to the suppression of suffering is the Noble Eightfold Path, which consists of right views, right intention, right speech, right action, right livelihood, right effort, right-mindedness, and right contemplation. These eight are usually divided into three categories that base the Buddhist faith: morality, wisdom, and samadhi, or concentration. In Buddhism, there is no hierarchy, nor caste system; the Buddha taught that one's spiritual worth is not based on birth.
I scored Buddhism.Well i guess you learn everyday something new about yourself.~;)

I'm... Christian?
I never knew this!
Though I'm just as Buddhist as Jewish... :inquisitive:
What the heck -- I scored as a Muslim? I guess the fact that I don't believe in Jesus as the physical embodiment God did me in. Oh well. This isn't going to cause me to wave goodbye to my congregation and skip down the street to mosque, though. I can value and love my religion without buying into every single aspect of the theology.

I came out as Christian 83% (no surprise) Buddhist 54% (somewhat of a surprise) and agnostic (50% big surprise). I guess because I believe in 'caused evolution', the fact that one cannot 'know' the existence of God (though I probably read that a little more literally than the author of the quiz intended), and the fact that there's elements of each religion that hold some truth for me.
Does anyone know what that question about women having a right to get down and boogie, but not men, was all about? Paganism? Do pagans believe men are just supposed to sit back and wait for a woman to make an offer, or is that satanism?
Definitely not satanism. Probably modern paganism, since that has a lot of semi-feminist elements grafted on to it. There's an easy way to tell -- take the quiz and answer it as though you were wearing earth shoes and chewing on tofu jerky. See what results you get. Nothing beats empiricism.

I may have missed the questions about 'spiritual advancement of the self' because I don't recall answering yes to those. What did me in was the fact that I don't take the word of other men to be the word of God.:laugh4:
Edit: I missed the "don't" in Lemur's post.

I wonder what that bong-smoking something-akin-to-a-Buddhist classmate my hapless brother is straddled with would score. As an empirical test he actually had the guy make me a horoscope from my date of birth.
It was pretty far out in the winter woods, unsurprisingly.

Im not sure, but maybe they understand those Wicca, witch people as Pagans.I think they think they worship women sexuality and femine power a lot.If i remember right they belive in some kind of "Goddes".I became to think about that becouse in the end there was also a question about is God a female entity.Pure speculation from my part,so if there are Pagan Orghas dont bite my head of becouse of that.

...And I still cant get the difference between God-Monotheism and Satan-Monotheism. Dont christians/muslims etc believe in the existence of satan? Since they do doesnt that make em Satanists too?
They are inclined to kill and justify just the same, the only difference being that God appears like the public sector to me while Satan, being a former employee, decided to start his own private business...Satanism is a capitalist version of christianity...:help:

I think I judge the religions very differently on those two planes - their philosophy and their rules... The philosophy aspects of most religions are quite good but the interpretations and traditions often come down to rituals where the details overshadow the philosophy, which is forgotten. The moral rules and official interpretations parts are also what awakes things such as crusades and other extremism IMO.

Does anyone understand what the percentages actually represent? All I can figure is: they devised the quiz (40 questions, right?), got some self-proclaimed buddhists, hindus, pagans, etc to answer - then applied their answers to our answers. Therefore meaning I answered 88% of the questions like their Buddhist, and only 46% like their Christian.
My meaning is: for purposes of the results, they had to somehow establish what a pagan, jew, atheist would answer ahead of time.

I believe that the test uses positives. That is, to answer on the very left side does not incur a negative, or some sort of penalty, rather answering on the right establishes a positive and thus if one does not go all the way to the right, it will not be seen as 100%of that thing.
Edit: Yes, answering all the way to the right on all of the questions leads to a "tie breaker" and the rest of them are scored at 100% too. Yet, Paganism is only at 83%. Certain questions relate to certain religions, and answering positively results in a postive percentage. It seems rather silly to ask doctrinal based questions and then to suggest to them that they become a member of that religion. It seems that it is not meant for the five big religions on the test, as most of those doctrines are commonly known and seem to modify the results as people answer accordingly to fit their preconceived notions of their selves.

I believe that according to traditional Jewish law a woman can divorce a man if he doesn't do his marital duties, the question might refer to that.
I just checked: the question scores for both paganism and judaism. Not sure if you could consider paganism one religion though, I somehow doubt the vikings or the mongols accepting this rule. (Sjamanism isn't counted separately is it ?)

Hmmm...interesting. I find it odd that I could be 92% for one religon, and yet still have all of these other percentages of faiths within me. It's like having multiple personalities. Strange that I also rated 33 % in Islam, Hinduism, and Paganism. I appearantly am also agnostic 25% of the time (a bit of a doubting Thomas at times it seems). In actuality I would rate myself as a strong Christian with a high degree of tolerance for others who wish to believe otherwise; love freely given is true faith, love gained by coercion is simply submission.
