Can anyone post or send me his/her descr_event_images.txt file found on data folder coz mine simply does not work

Please describe the exact error you are having - if you are having an event problem, it is most likely an indication of a bad installation or download. Getting a new file won't solve the problem.

when i start the mod its says:
Script Error in data/descr_event_images.txt at line 623, column 1
Unknown event string faction_defeated_by_player
then the game crashes

I've seen this mentioned before. Almost certain that its due to a faulty download or installation as Khelvan says. Best bet would be to download EB 0.72 and the 0.74 patch again and reinstall them.
