Might just have to see this. He's in Montreal in September. Though Floyd has a great following everywhere, Montreal is truly a nutbar Floyd town.

I saw Waters solo in Montreal back in the late '80s, an amazing show. This one looks good as well. Will probably be the last chance to see any live Floyd (whom I've seen three times live. :2thumbsup: Though Gawain has seen them thirty times... shmuck).

$100 for the good seats. Might even look into some scalper action for this one and grab some serious seats.

Right, I thought I was going to see Iron Maiden in December, I am going to have to cancel those tickets right now!

How much are plane tickets to Montreal anyone?

Supposedly one of the best rock music writers of the 20th century, but his stuff really wasn't that great unless the rest of his band was involved.

(He was a member of Pink Floyd, if that answers your question.)

Waters wrote most of the best Pink Floyd songs (and was always involved when it was written by more than one member), however he was not as good with the music. Compare the album The Final Cut, where the rest of the band had little influence, to Animals, where the band (namely their guitarist, David Gilmour) was more free to show off.

But who's going to go to the shows to hear his solo stuff? Everyone wants Dark Side of the Moon. :balloon2:

If this is anything like the In The Flesh tour, it should be amazing.

Unfortunately, I don't think I have the cash.
