I am getting swarmed with pop ups?

I used to almost never get pop up adds here and now I am getting swarmed with them all over the place it is only at this site too! so is something up with the org or do I need to mess with my pop up blocker.

I would try that first, mate. My IE6 browser with google pop-up stopper add-on seem to be killing more than usual lately. They seem to come in waves sometimes.

I had noticed them too, especially in my early days on here. Of course, I was finally persuaded to switch over to Firefox, and rarely have trouble with them coming up while I'm on the forum...

One thing though, somewhat related...

I have noticed, while playing certain games in the arcade, popups come frequently, and it becomes more than an annoyance; the game gets ruined and would be high scores become 4th place. :shame:

I have high standards man! I need to keep at least 5 top arcade scores! It's hard enough keeping them with those predator score stealers (aka more skilled players) out there! When a popup helps them, Gah! And this has happened twice! Both were great games that became 4th place!

Got swarmed here myself yesterday. But it also happened when I visited break.com.

While not being swarmed with pop-ups (my windows pop-up blocker clears almost all), one of the ads at the bottom of the page makes my mouse arrow blink as mad.
It's annoying and hard to press the links when that happens.
