My fellow Forumites,

It has recently come to my mind that the Campaign Map lacks representations for the Wonders in EB. The EB team has done a wonderful job implenting 'wonders' other than the wellknown Seven Wonders of the World, such as the tomb of Alexander in Alexandreia, just to name one example.
I'm just curious why the represantations for the Seven Wonders, which were implented in Vanilla, has been removed from the map? I do know that all the wonders, including the bigger ones, are included as 'buildings' in the buildings-tab. Just wondering.

Best regards, Pius.

Probably because the map is as crowded as it it and perhaps EB felt that accurate geological feautures were more important. Then again, I think I read that the map is unfinished, so they may be in there.

Makes sense, I guess.

I'm not sure but I think the only way to have them on the campagin map is to use the vanilla graphics, which have hardcoded bonuses. I'm not sure what can be done with tile graphics though...

The reason they are not on the campaign map is because the vanilla wonders have campaign-wide effects. The only way to remove those effects was to remove them completely from the game.

We still represent them the way we represent all of our unique buildings, and they have the added benefit of having some custom graphics on the battlemap. However, we will never see them on the campaign map unless, and until, CA gives us the ability to adjust their effects.
