OK, I have heard about 'batch factions' in BI and how they supposedly let you have infinite factions. What I want to know is how they work and how to use them. I hope someone knows :help:
You have 20 faction slots available. Make your mod with 19 factions, leave the 20th faction slot empty. Then, make mini-mods which bring a new faction above the 20th slot. Ussually with the AoR units of an area , this is the way I see it. Easy to say, a bit harder to do it beautifully, everybody tells he'll make mods with more then 20 factions, nobody did it until now.
Farewell,
Arbaces.
The thing is for every faction batch you want to add you need to redo most of the text files. This means it adds a lot of additional work.
Imperium: TW will have that system, and it works quite fine (they haven't released yet though :()

Im still very confused. Can you please be more specific?
Well this approach is in fact using several mods instead of a large one.
They provide a set of basic files and then they batch-replace their mod files (in windows) with slightly different ones in order to swap a faction out.
