I second SwordsMaster's motion for Lord of War

Further more you could try The Rock - a good action movie which you'd probably enjoy - or SinCity, which you'd enjoy if you can take a little violence .

Also if you haven't seen it yet, watch 4 Brothers. A very good movie, good story good acting and a couple of interesting plot twists.
I'd most certainly recommend.

I have pretty straightforward taste in movies...get anything made in Asia starring Jackie Chan, Jet Li or Sonny Chiba, old zombie movies, or anything Godzilla. Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla, especially. It's great after a few pints and a bowl of pretzels.

Speaking of zombies (and we should always be speaking of zombies) you can't go wrong with Shaun of the Dead (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0365748/). Both the funniest and best zombie movie of the last decade.

Both Shaun of the Dead and Lord of War are hartily recommended. Also I'd recommend Equilibrium, Big Fish, Serenity (and the series, Firefly, but that's another matter entirely), The Fifth Element, The Butterfly Effect, Phone Booth, and definitely both X-men films.
