Hello

I have noticed that there are a number of various awards that you can get at places like here and TWcenter.

However, i have thought that my idea here would be a fun, unique and challenging approach for another award.

Here's what it is- it is a competition, for a single modder or a team, to produce a working modification for competition within one month of the competition.
I know 1 month sounds silly, but then it will result in a fairly small mod with a few units, a couple of factions and maybe a small map.
This would then also be a worthy idea as it requires skill, organisation and many other talents that maybe arent reflected as well in awards. Then, all those who wanted to compete, after the month, send their mods to be judged.

Maybe these could be the marking categories:

Originality
Completion
Bugginess
Members (the more members the more marks subtracted)
Unit quality
Campaign map quality
Fun

And possibly many others.

All I thought was it would be quite a fun and interesting challenge for modders, and would allow them to show off their skills. The only rule I would say would be that nobody should use any of their previous work on the mod.

If anybody would like to take this up I for one would be happy to enter :)

Cheers
Lentonius

This is not really feasable, most modders are devoting their time to their main mods, they do not have time to work on another mod for a competition.
