Strange question

Is it possible to give cavalry the ability to use a shield wall formation? I understand the question may seem odd, but I have a reason why I would like to use shield wall with cavalry.

Nope, formations are hardcoded, so you can only have shield wall/testudo/phalanx for infatry, and wedge only for cavalry.

Someone told me that they made a mounted phalanx for their game. I'm trying to create a Frankish Charge Formation for Crusader Total War by either making the wedge wider or using a mounted shield wall. If anyone knows about either of these, send me a pm or send one to Konstantinos IV.

It doesn't work, people tried this ages ago, i was one of them, it just doens't work, formations are hardcoded, no way to edit them.
