Greetings, noble Org'ers, moderators and administrators.
I would like to know if currently there are moderator/ assistant moderator shortages for the Org.

Why would you want to be a moderator?

We've all had the choice, either behave and become a moderator, or accept the final warning and get banned permanent...

Besides, the pay isn't really worth all the work..

I am truely interested in becoming a moderator. It is useful moderating experience for my future forum => Transylvania Total War and usefull experience and another forum ( secret)

So you're not in it for the (very little may I add) money?

Cleaning the staff toilets and moving threads mainly.

Besides that every staffmembers gets to pick a victim, on which they'll keep picking for a year or so, some staffmembers have multiple victims...that's the most fun part of the job btw.

anyway, no vacancies at the moment that I'm aware of. To moderate your own forum is up to you, it depends on what kind of forum you want to run. If you want a nice forum, lead by example and make sure people don't get into personal arguments.

It's not me who decides, it's the entire staffteam.

I think that when the time comes to select ( elect if you will ) a new moderator, they'll keep everyone in mind.

I remember a thread a while back where somebody asked how you became a moderator, and I remember someone saying 'I just acted like one, and eventually they asked me to do it'. I think this is probably the best advice for those who wuold like to become part of the staff. I'm not suggesting you start trying to hand out warning points, but behaving in a mature manner and encouraging others to do the same goes a long way.

Hmm.. It's been a while yes. I need someone to counter-argue me in M2: TW forums now.. Help! (Puzz3D just got bored of it, and so did Orda I think!)

Actually I think you'd make a pretty good backroom mod :bow:

There are tons of backroomers ahead of you on the "never make backroom mod list" - DevDave, PJ, Capo, JAG, Idaho.....and I think they all know it too :laugh4:
