After the reforms of marius yuo can start training early legionares and the normal legionares. but not the first cohort the larger more effectual big brother of the units listed. there attack is the same but they carry an eagle and therefore give a leadership bounus.they also have 40 more men.(in large unit size)


after manually modding everything else i now can say that i can train 1st cohorts whenever I want.:idea2:

You can train first cohorts from Rome, or the Senate can award you one at your capital.

Yes, it is alot easier to just take rome and recruit them then have to go in and mod a bunch of files.
