1. A lot of people have conquered the world but I've never heard of anyone teching every city to Imperial Palace with all the buildings. Has any every done this? Are there even enough turns to do this? In most of my campaigns I get done with 200+ years remaining. It seems like there would be enough time if you made peasants and just sent them to the cities that needed more population. This would be something to do after you conquered the world.

2. Has anyone ever played to the last year 14AD? Does the game crash if you continue or just make you go back to the main menu?

Wouldn't it be more interesting to start a new campaign?

I was really just wondering if anyone had done it. This would be a fully complete game. Have every settlement, and each one fully teched. The challenge thing was an afterthought since this is more about having the endurance to sit through turn after turn of construction.

Not just the endurance, the time as well.

What happens when you reach 14AD?

I think it would be pretty tough to manage. My experience was that after you conquer the world, everything becomes rebellious. Extermination isn't an option for this game, unless the city has already been teched up to 24K. Occupation isn't either because then you end up with the same crappy public order that threw you out in the first place. Enslaving with carefully placed generals could help you along, though. I'm not willing to try it, but someone who doesn't mind screwing endlessly with rebels could find it intriguing. You'd have to build a lot of farms in desert areas to finish in time, I would think.

1: I know of no one who has done it, if it's possible....I'd say It would be hard, but I'm not saying it can't be done.

2: Some people have played up to the end date, I think it simply gives you a message the campaign is over with, and then directs you back to the main menu. Also I'd say it gives you a ''defeat'' message if you haven't been able to complete the campaign by then.

1. I`m going to try it.

Correction: I`m going to try it in BI. Perhaps I will be able to live up some of my old RTW campaigns, but I`m not sure about that.

2. I`m pretty sure you can play unitl the year 2000 if you want.
