1. With the port over to 1.5, EB can make certain nations more prone to sea invasions and whatnot right? Is there an option to make certain nations more aggressive or to force them to expand out of their original few provinces?
i.e. - playing as Hayasdan, I watched baktria conquer the 2 provinces to its north east and south east, then have 3 full stacks of units sit on its borders and do nothing. Palahava (sp?) did the same thing after conquering a northern town, even when the seleucid town to its capital's south rebelled and was under the control of the Eleutheroi (sp?). At the same time Pontus did nothing but patrol its capital city and it attacked Sinope (can't remember if thats the name or not) once and never again.

2. Im not sure on the exact amount, I think 20k for some reason, is given to factions whose finances are in the negative. While this does keep them in the game, since Ive never seen the computer disband an army and work on its economy, this is a good idea so they'll build. The problem is that you have factions like the Seleucid empire which is supposed to be hacked apart by all of its former smaller allies, but this cant happen because with the 20k bonus each turn they recruit unit after unit until each city on the border is half full, and no army from the smaller nations can combat it. Are any new techniques being tossed around for keeping the AI in the game without unbalancing the factions?

3. I know we've said this time and time again with rebel cities and huge stacks but I noticed something... Why is it that only some cities build out of control unit wise each turn while others actually stay at the same garrison and build nothing? The cities around Hayasdan, except for the 2 walled ones to the south west, remain at the same number of men which allows for expansion. Is the 1.5 version going to change this or will the new... personalities I guess you could say (prone to sea invasions like I mentioned earlier etc) allow for a more city building focus for rebels?

I can say that tweaking the preferences and even getting the new attitudes towards other factions is something that probably wont' be all smoothed out in our first 1.5 release of the beta. We want to get things shifted over and the units that are done included, plus some other small things, but there will still be a lot of correcting things like that once we get the build up and fully running in 1.5. We will probably want to do things like you mention in #1, but we don't have the people to put on these issues just yet (though that will come with some time, when we can shift over from porting tasks and the issues that cropped up with 1.5 - new problems, etc.).

what other attitudes/personalities are available with the 1.5 port?
