Help on suitable mod to fit my needs ??

Hi everyone ~:wave:

I am currently playing RTW 1.5 and would like a mod that fulfils some of the following:

Legion names - would love to personal my legions.
Zones Of Recruitment - Would like to restrict recruitment of high level units where appropriate.
Lose some units - i.e. wardogs, peasants etc.
Seasonal Turns - 4 turns a year if possible.

I have tried RTR but didn't like the number of settlements involved. Can you tell me your experiences of other suitable mods.

I have Barbarian Invasion but I cannot run night battles properly due to my graphics card and also RTW is my favourite time period.

Well, the only thing I can think of is The First Triumvirate, but although that has many (most actually) of the things you said, I don't think its quite what you're looking for.

EB has them all apart from the named Legions.

It's for 1.2 right nw though, being ported to 1.5 soon.

I'd suggest Terrae Expugnandae 4.0. It has everything you have asked for (except the naming of legions). It's got loads of cool features and version 5.0 is in production, you can find out more about this great mod here...
