Find out what both the minimum and recommended specs for the games are you wish to play.

Then look at online stores for prices, also shop around at local PC stores and if possible go to computer days at local shops (we have one here and the prices are very competitive).

I don't know if you're PCI or AGP, but here's a couple of random suggestions:

Asus Geforce 6600 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814121180)

Connect3D Radeon X1600 Pro (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814142060)

Wow.

The cards Lemur linked to are very nice for under $100.

The X1600 got poor reviews (that I read anyway), but for under a $100 it's a whole other ball game. Well worth it I'd say.

Oblivion is not a game for $100 cards, more like $300.

The best value at $80-100 is probably the oem 6600gt (or a used one).

The x1600pro is a terrible card for the money for gamers.

that's cool

cuz I see BF 2 needs a 128MB one,as time I check,and I thought Elder Scrolls needed a 128MB or Higer One Aslo..

if you can find anymore around the price Range or Higher(somewhat),it be appacatied, since I am looking for the best deal..

We still need to know if you need an AGP or PCI-e card. Both the ones linked by Lemur are PCI-e so may not be suitable for your current motherboard.

Just a random but important point here : RAM of the video cards is not the primary feature. Don't get tricked with that.

BHC, you really have to let us know if your motherboard is PCI or AGP. If you're unsure how to determine this, let us know. We can't throw down meaningful suggestions until we know which connector the card uses.
