I downloaded 0.74 for the first time last night and played a couple turns as the Romani.

I can't help but notice one of my Generals wearing a Greek style helmet in his photos (C. Aurelius Cotta). When I fought a battle, my general gave a speech about the Greeks!

What's the deal?

Culture swap residue.

Romans are "Seleucids" and Seleucids are "Romans", the cities also appear to be swapped (walls and buildings).

Will be fixed, and hopefully decently ironed-out as much as possible, when the 1.5 ported version is released.

A silly question: If I don't have BI, can I play the 1.5 ported version with my current 1.2? Cos I refused to buy BI when I saw the units they had in it.

Isn't BI 1.6? All you'll need to do is download an update.. no BI required.

Only references i have found to Roman geeks is this picture. I found it from Microsoft library under all judicial writs. I know it could be debated does this have any historical value and acn it be trusted. Author is, Gaius Julius Gates and book is, how to make easy bucks by selling carbage.:book:

To install the 1.5 patch you must have already installed the 1.3 patch, which can also be found n the downloads section of www.totalwar.com

you mean , the culture speech is right in 1.5 EB port ?that would be great ,i`m
confused everytime when my seleucid Strategos prise the roman Empire *gg* :2thumbsup:
At all with this amazing RPG Elements in EB is this the one and only flaw in my eyes .

Everything will not be totally fixed in the 0.8 build. Voices are something we have not been able to turn much attention to, but hopefully the latin recordings will be moved over to this culture group at least.
