Noob questions

Well i want to try out EB os i need a couple of things, where can you download it? and basically what factions are there, how big is the map etc you know all those things that make you want to download a mod? so where can if someone could just post the links to the various threads or just tell me it would be a great help

especially in the stickied sections on the top
7.4 is the most up to date version out but they will soon be releasing a better version, 8.0
there's a section on maps and I believe EB has a website with unit info and faction info and all that jazz
