Do yourself a favor and check out the demo for TC2M, in the downloads section. For anyone who ever wanted a great military sim, this is for you. Incredible. You have to try it to believe it. Chains of command, couriers to deliver orders, realistic battle pacing, wonderful strategy... just plain awesome. Try it out while waiting for 0.8 folks, you won't be disappointed (if you like realistic military sims).
