changing faction ownership in 1.5

well i changed bactria in 1.5 to the thrace area, and as soon as i start a campaign, it says that i failed the victory conditions, so how do i fix this?:help: :help: :help:

You've got some error above that factions family section in descr_strat that is stopping it reading down to family - hence no family - hence dead faction!

having too many or too few '{' can do this missing 'settlement' between settlements and odd characters like `

Could you explain in more detail? In my vanilla 1.5 thrace is faction and also region, bactria doesn't exist - so assume you're actually in mod, if so which?, do you mean you're trying to transfer ownership of thrace region to bactria faction, or vice versa?

If you transfer settlement from one faction to another in descr strat, you normally cut and paste settlement details, if you haven't cut all the right bits then you can get the type of error I was explaining about.

If you haven't solved this yet can you zip and post your descr-strat somewhere so we can look at it?
