Hello everyone. I just got back from a week long vacation that was awsome. First of all, I live in Texas and the summer right now is unbareable. I took a trip to New England (United States) and the temperature was so great. I want to move their now (well, I guess winter will suck).

Anyway, let me give you a list of my travels. Because I am only three years away from college I visited many good colleges. Some were:

-Yale
-Harvard
-M.I.T
-Brown
-Princeton

Now I'll give you a list of all the places I went and info on them.

First I started off flying to Chicago. From there to Providence (Rhode Island). When we got the rental car we drove to an island off the mainland of Rhode Island called Newport (Rhode Island). We met up with an old friend of my mothers and had dinner in Newport. The next day we took a walk on a 3.5 mile cliff walk in the richest neighborhood of Newport. It was amazing. (http://www.trails.com/tcatalog_trail.asp?trailid=CGN043-001). After that we went drove back to Providence(Rhode Island) to look at a college then on to Boston/Cambridge (Massachusetts).

We traveled through Chinatown in Boston and went to the world famous Pizzeria Regina (http://www.polcaris.com/pizzeriaregina.htm). We also stayed in the Hyat (http://cambridge.hyatt.com/hyatt/hotels/index.jsp), where I had an excellent view of the Charles river that cuts Boston and Cambrige in two.

The next day we drove to Hyannis Port (Massachusetts), which is on Cape Cod. After that we drove (ok get this) through five states in one day. We started off in Massachusetts, then through Rhode Island, then Connecticut, through New York and finally into New Jersey.

We made a stop in New Haven (Connecticut), to look at Yale. Then we drove some more through New York state and into New Jersey where we settled in New Brunswick (New Jersey).

The next day we went to Princeton (New Jersey) to see the college Princeton. Towards the end of the day we traveled back to our hotel in New Brunswick.

The next day we went to New York City (New York) to the burrow of Mahnhattan to the American Museum of Natural History (http://www.amnh.org/), which was really cool.

We took a walk through Central Park and took a drive through Time Square. Then we traveled to the burrow Long Island to meet some relatives I've never met before. We stayed the night there and went to the airport to fly back this morning.

Overall, this was an amazing trip. I can't wait to go to Florida later this month!:2thumbsup:

If you think New England is nice now, you should visit on the Fall.
