I suppose I am not suprised that the latest attrocities have elicited no mention on this board. Back to Orwell..

The nationalist not only does not disapprove of atrocities committed by his own side, but he has a remarkable capacity for not even hearing about them

It's a sad fact that in wars it is civilians that suffer the most.

Just as well the poor Palestinians arent nationalistic then, isn't it?

I didn't realise it was a war. If so why do they claim they are even looking into the shelling of families enjoying a picnic on the beach? I suppose they are all terrorists really and should expect no better.

Semi-witty twisting of the quote, yet producing no meaningful addition to the debate. Where exactly did you expect to go with that?

Well you bit, didn't you? :idea2:

Well I would say it is a war and has been since the inception of the Israeli state. Until all parties can get together and agree on a proper resolution to this, there will be, unfortunately, more death and maimings.

The election result didn't exactly help in moving this process forwards, did it? Even though Fatah was enormously corrupt and incompetent.

Shelling families on a beach is horrific, but no more horrific than looney tunes blowing themselves and a busload of schoolgirls up.

If it's not a war, what is it? Grumpy neighbors? :inquisitive:

I can't be bothered to comment every time one side kills someone on the other. It is unending. I wasn't going to bother to post here until idaho viewed this as some sort of conspiracy.

Nothing original to say here. Check any of the posts on one of the other threads on this issue...
