It's simple, threads should balanced between fun, common interest, and interactivity. The "Control + V" thread failed in the balance. Some people might find it fun to have a thread where you bash your head on the keyboard and see what letters pop up on the screen, or have a poll asking if your eyes are open or closed when you pee, but I can't imagine the majority want the Frontroom to be like that. It would be a shallow, vapid place.
Some inanity is fine, but we've had a flurry of spam threads lately and some are going to get cut. This thread is kept open (for now :evil:) because it was presented with a video to look at, a poll to answer, the chance of interactivity between the posters, and maybe a laugh. It's always a case by case basis.
The rules here are simple - no religion, politics, or nastiness (or spam), but that still leaves humour, science, history, women, food, beer, women, movies, books, motorcycles, cars, bars, stars, games, women, travel, life stories, philosophy, deodorant preference, cooking, and 34,870,324 other topics. There is no need to permit or desire we become a forum full of "How many times can you stick your finger up your nose in one minute?" threads.
Now, :focus: Please. If you have comments, please PM BKS or myself, or take it up in the Watchtower. In this thread it's over.
