View Full Version : Tactics
I have always wanted to see the use of tactics in EB. I don't know if its possible, but maybe if generals of five stars or more had the option before the beginning of a battle to use one tactic from a list like gathering stones to throw from the battlements of a city, and eight or ten star generals could pick two tactics. This would add some originality to each battle. You could make it like siege equipment that takes no time to build and is different depending on the battlefield and whether it is the defender or attacker choosing. This would also make the high star but small army eleutheroi armies at the start a little harder to beat.:idea2:

Hardcoded ~;p
Hardcoded ~;p
maybe not that hardcoded(probally is). It might be possible to change the behavior of the "fromations" bouttons to do this.
You'd have to change the hardcode to do anything remotely like what Tanit is talking about, not just a few buttons on the battlescreen. Unless I don't understand what "'fromations' bouttons" are.

When you gourp units to togther in the bottom right cornor of the screen formation bottons appear. You can do stuff like "Infartry first;three lines","sortred double line" and stuff like that.
It might be possible to change there behavior base on the general skill to do more advance tactics won't be like what Tanit said but it might be somthing like what Tanit said.
Another possibiltiy is to do something with traits. but I think Scott might have the only way through it.
You can create your own new formations, but that's about it. If I understand you, which is questionable, your idea is hardcoded through and through, its not just a small matter of changing a menu or giving a trait, you want to change a fundamental part of how the battles work.
Can someone form the EB team post who knows what there talking about? We need someone here that knows what there talking aobut.
