This is a little weird, and I'm not even sure that it makes sense, but someone has created a map of the "war" between Microsoft products and free/open software products. Actually, now that I'm looking at it carefully, I'm pretty darn sure it makes no real sense. But it's still interesting to look at. Lots of colors and lines and little explosions.

I like the penguin up in the corner. He's cute. ~

XP appears to be holding out on several fronts.
[Ah, but there is hope with Firefox. Indeed it looks to be the
only hope - sure to be crushed by an IE 7 counterattack.]

Actually, i've been using the beta for a few months now, and IE7 is certified trash :)

Better than IE6 (wow! what an achievement!) but much, much worse than firefox.

Surely Google should be doing better than it is on that map? Last time i checked, Google was doing much better, both financially and in what they are making (the world's largest super computer!).

Also, Apple should be smaller due to Boot Camp, allowing Windows XP to infiltrate them!

Really? Excellent news. Mozilla marches on to the second line of Microsoft
trenches then.
