Everyone knows how monarchies intermarry with different other groups...but still, its interesting. SO I decided to list Manuel's bloodlines:
1) Bithynian/Paphlagonian (Ancestral family was based on Kastamon or Castamonu
2) Polish, his maternal Grandpa (King Ladislas of Hungary) was half Polish
3) Savoy and German, from his mother's mother's side
4) Hungarian of course through his mother (Piroshka-Irene)

I can recommend you one pretty reliable site:

Blood lines are incredibly interesting to me. I have always been interested in bloodlines ever since I figured out my mother's maiden name is Vartanian, which means 'of Vartan' or 'Sons of Vartan'. I was swept up by geneaology and that sort from that time on. Of course, I know absolutely nothing about the other side of my family.

Bloodlines attract me too. I found that one of my ancestors is the creator of the National Anthem of Romania. :inquisitive:

I join to you. Good work kataphraktoi and Knight Templar. Maybe it will be useful. But I have always wondered why Manuel's skin was quite darker than the acceptable.( not racism but just inquisitive :inquisitive: ) How did this happen? Maybe only his mother knew.

If anyone else has bloodlines of historic firgures, post them here. All I know is that Kennedy is a branch of Cennedi, the family of Brian Boruma, and Vartanian means "Sons of Vartan*"
*Patron Saint of Armenia, lead an uprising against Zoarastrian Persia, was killed in battle, good tactician.
