View Full Version : Problem with the .com site!
Everytime I attempt to access the website – www.totalwar.com – my PC attempts to shut down. I know some nasty person hacked the RTR website recently, perhaps this is a concerted attack………or I have PC issues I’ve not noticed before.
This doesn’t happen with ANY other website though, which is very odd.:inquisitive:
What browser are you using?
I use Firefox and I get no problems. It could be that or something is wrong with your computer? Very odd though.
Basically, if no-one else is getting this issue I need to look hard at possible browser issues - using MS Explorer. :dizzy2:
No issues for me.
By the by, does anyone else not like the .com site design? The flash movies that play are incredibly annoying...I rarely log onto the main site anymore because of them. Just use a bookmark to hop to the forums...

When at work I used to access the .com site by entering "something" into google (I try not to leave obvious traces of what I'm accessing at work even though I am the network admin there). I now find that this search no longer finds the .com forums since the website redesign, so I have to go to .com and navigate to their board via the links, which is damned annoying. Luckily I use it less these days.
@Braden: The crash problem could be related to your flash player being corrupted. Go to Macromedia and use the flash player uninstaller and then reinstall the latest version. If that fails try a different browser such as firefox and see if you have the same problem.

Try installing Firefox and see if you still get the problem. Sorry, that's my only tip right now.
