Italy has a little more team play, and they have a much more solid, offensive-orientated game play with a decent defense backup too.


Maybe France gets lucky and scores some goals (read: Zizou scores some goals), like against Brazil

Right....Zidane has two goals. Same amount as Vieria and one less than Henry. One of Zidanes two was a penalty kick setup by Henrys dive.

Unfortunately the game everyone is pissing themselves over is the one that I wasn't able to record. I haven't seen replays of the France-Brazil game, but either way I'm not trying to say Zidane hasn't been playing terrific football.

All I'm saying is that there is more to the French side than Zidane.

Because they didn't bring any effort against Ghana, which was astounding considering the circumstances.

Czech game they got down after the first goal and never fought back up. For some reason I think the US team would have played better against tougher opposition, if only because they would have given more effort.

I think it'll be an even game, but I also think Germany will win, because they have the home audience and stronger desire for revenge than Portugal I think. Usually this match is something were the teams have difficulties to motivate - in this case I am hoping for a nice match as Germany will probably have some players on the field that did not play so far (or at least not a lot), e.g., Oliver Kahn as goalie and they might want to give a last show for the crowd.

My guess would be 3-1 for Germany

As for the final - even if I tend to support France, the most important thing would be that we see a great match.
